A successful planting day 2024

On October 23, on the Altos de Gualí was the scene of an important environmental day, in which 80 trees of native species such as Arboloco, Tibar, Laurel and Chilco were planted for the restoration and conservation of this valuable ecosystem. The activity was possible thanks to the combined efforts of the collaborators and the support of the Corporación Autónoma Regional (CAR), who worked together to carry it out.

Prior to the planting, an area of 5,000 m² was maintained and pruned, thus reinforcing the care of the natural environment and optimizing conditions for the local flora and fauna. During the day, participants committed themselves to the protection of the wetland’s natural resources, contributing their time and energy to strengthen the ecosystem and contribute to the mitigation of climate change. The planting of these trees seeks to improve air quality, conserve biodiversity and promote the recovery of this important natural space, vital for the fauna and flora of the region.

This effort reaffirms the commitment of our employees and CAR with the care of the environment and the promotion of sustainable actions.
