A successful planting day 2024 On October 23, on the Altos de Gualí was the scene of an important environmental day, in which 80 trees of native species such as Arboloco, Tibar, Laurel and Chilco were planted for the restoration and conservation of this valuable ecosystem. The activity was possible thanks to the combined efforts of the collaborators and the support of the Corporación Autónoma Regional (CAR), who worked together to carry it out. Kluane Colombia has partnered with the Botellas de Amor Foundation to promote awareness through environmental education. Our goal is to generate a positive impact on the environment, reducing pollution from improper disposal of plastic waste. Water Day
On March 22 we commemorated water day with a walk from the secretary of environment and animal welfare to the Gualí wetland park. Kluane delivered metal bottles and refreshments as a contribution to the community and other attendees. We also had the support of the regional autonomous corporation (CAR), the EMAAF, the thematic group of the Gualí wetland, the community, schools, and the municipal secretary, addressing issues such as water quality, air quality, climate change, flora, and fauna.
